Hogwarts, Panchero's, and Other UI Excitement.

Edit: Sorry for the late posting, the internet failed again last night.

Today, I went to the University of Iowa for a college visit. It was rather nice, but I'm not sure that they have the program that I want. Nevertheless, I had a great time exploring the campus and culture there.

I went to Panchero's because the people I were with didn't wanted to splurge too much, but wanted tex-mex stuff, so my beloved Chipotle was out of the question. After attempting to eat the hugest burrito I'd ever seen in my life, I got a call from my friend Meg, who wanted me to come visit her.

So Meg picked us up, and took us to Trinity Episcopal Church for a special tour. In the Episcopal church, we have some really awesome VBS cirriculums; Narnia, A Wrinkle in Time, Harry Potter, etc. Trinty totally overdid themselves on turning their church into Hogwarts. They had classrooms, a Great Hall, quidditch field, Diagon Alley, even a Room of Requirement! It was amazing. Here are some pictures.

After that, we got an overview of the college, and took a Cambus tour. The worst part of the whole day was getting out of Iowa City, because I had absolutely no idea to navigate it, but after getting onto 380, I was fine. When I got home, there was a pig out. Exciting.
