College Visits are Educational.

Hello world. I have been on the road, visiting colleges for the past two days. It has been pretty good, and I'm exhausted. I have a better idea of what I want, and what I'd like to major in, but that's a topic for another day.

I visited four colleges Drake, Grandview, Iowa State, and University of Northern Iowa. I don't want Drake or UNI. Grandview's nice but has only a couple of the classes I want, and the theology professor was one cool guy. I absoultely adore ISU for engineering, which is what I'm seriously thinking about. I got to see a ton of things there; ABC Computer, VRAC, and St. John's Episcopal Church. Also, northern Ames is an island... But this blog is about the things that I learned while on the roadtrip with a distant family member.

1) Cell phones cause cancer, and should only be used in emergencies.
2) Lectures are the best form of teaching, as they utilize the most student interaction.
3) If you don't have a water bottle on you at all times, you will die.
4) CO-ED floors are for people who want to have a lot of sex.
5) All Soroities force you to have sex to get in.
6) The taste of the ice should be blamed only upon the person who put it in.
7) If you know what's best for a mentally-able person, and they don't want it, you should do it anyway.
8) Atmospheres on a college aren't really that important.
9) People with CFS can't hold full time jobs.
10) Obama's only goal is to screw people out of money because he and everyone else has never had a hardship.

...

I only put the "less extreme" things on here. I am hitting that exhaustion point, and sanity is slowly starting to creep back in. Gah.

University of Iowa tomorrow.
